Jason Brescia, founder and creative director of Beau Monde Salon & Spa, has built an incredible reputation with over 19 years of experience in the beauty industry. A master of his craft, he keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear in every season. Brescia thoroughly has a deep passion for making his clients feel and look great and also educating them regarding every aspect of their hair. Jason specializes in consulting with someone and creating a complete hair makeover with his clients. He also specializes in advanced coloring and highlighting techniques along with dry cutting precision cuts. Jason has trained in London, Miami, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Washington DC.
Tonia Massare, Tonia began her hair styling career at Shear Ego International School of Hair Design in 1999. Promptly after graduation, she studied under Jonathan Webb at Shear Ego Salon and Spa as his assistant for a year's time, eventually working her way up to Style Coordinator before leaving in 2005. During this time in March 2004, Tonia received her Color Specialist Award from Goldwell of New York, a prestigious honor given to those successfully completing the rigorous hands-on color intensive program. Notably, Tonia opened her own hair salon in the Park Avenue neighborhood of Rochester, NY from 2005-2007. In addition to the Goldwell Color Specialist award, Tonia has attended hair shows spanning the country in destinations such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, Florida and Los Angeles where she continues her hair education and training. As a Master Stylist at Beau Monde Salon and Spa, Tonia carries on her passion for hair styling.
Emily Chen started her career in 2004 after graduating from the EMCC Cosmetology licensing program in Rochester, NY. She began as an assistant in Penfield before moving to Pittsford, NY, where she began working as an Associate Stylist. Some of her continuing education includes training in NYC, Canada, Las Vegas, California, North Carolina, and Cancun, Mexico. In 2008, Emily became a Certified Thermafuse Educator which gave her the opportunity to travel throughout the United States & Canada to share her talent & passion for the industry with other hairstylists, as well as furthering her own education. She was recently awarded 2009 Thermafuse Educator of the Year. Chen is experienced in both Goldwell and Framesi coloring and became a Certified Framesi Master Colorist in 2009. Emily comes to Beau Monde with a fashion-forward outlook and enjoys working with her clients to come up with styles individualized to their needs, as well as complimenting their natural features, whether it be a contemporary classic, or an edgy/avant-garde style! Julie joined Beau Monde in 2008 to further grow her techniques and skill level. During Rizzo's six year career in hair designing, she has received a Goldwell Color Specialist certification and is certified as an Italian Framesi Master Colorist. (which involves 50+ hours of training per color line) Julie maintains an ongoing commitment to education, hair integrity and excellent attentive service to her clients. Before each client leaves, Rizzo provides each of her clients with simple, at-home tips and hints to gain the confidence and knowledge to keep their hair looking its best in between appointments. With versatile color, cutting, and styling techniques, Julie loves every aspect of her career with the positive outlook, "I love what I do because I get to see an end result of my work w/each and every client."

Alicia began her career as a hairstylist in 2005 after graduating from the Cosmetology program at BOCES. During Catarisano's first five years in the hair industry she has progressed as a stylist in various salons as well as working as a Salon Manager in 2008. Alicia has further trained at the Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy in Costa Mesa, California where she learned a variety of Paul Mitchell concepts and techniques. In 2009 & 2010, Catarisano attended the Premiere Orlando Hair Show where she participated in various classes ranging from technical cutting & coloring skills to team building in the salon. In January 2011 Alicia attended a 3 day extensive training course in Boston, MA to become an educator for the organic product line Surface which allows Alicia to share her passion and enthusiasm for the industry with other stylists. While in Boston, Alicia’s training consisted of various cutting techniques as well as business building skills and Surface product knowledge. Alicia is very passionate about her profession and loves making clients look and feel better about themselves. She strongly believes that if your hair looks good, you feel good as well.
Elisabeth came to Beau Monde in May 2010 seeking to continue a rewarding career in the Esthetics and Nail specialties. Elisabeth’s life-long interest in the field of beauty led her to attend Rochester’s Continental School of Beauty. Murphy holds a NYS license in both Esthetics and Nail Specialty. She earned certification in Dermalogical Skincare Products along with Institut Esthederm. Since joining Beau Monde, Elisabeth has attended Dermalogica training for skin care as well as the Certified Master Pedicurist 4 day intense training to extend her Nail Specialty license. All of this advance education has helped further her knowledge in these fields. Murphy will continue to expand her skills and knowledge in the areas of the Esthetics and Nails through continued education and client experiences. She strives to enrich the health, appearance, and emotional well-being of clients in the spa environment which Beau Monde offers.
Natalie graduated from Monroe Community College in 2007 with her Massage Therapy degree and began clinical practice at a Therapeutic Massage Clinic in Rochester, NY. While working at the clinic, she performed Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Reflexology massages, while maintaining a consistent clientele. In the past, Natalie worked briefly as a nail technician which led her into the spa industry. Although raised in Rochester, Walters was born in Jamaica and that has inspired her to pursue her International Massage Therapy License. Natalie would love to travel the world learning new cultural massage techniques. She joined Beau Monde in early 2010, while also working for the American Red Cross. Natalie is very nurturing and patient and believes Massage Therapy is a great way for all of her deserving clients to relax and take time out for themselves.
Lisa Miller started her education at St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sociology and a minor in Education. Soon after she completed the esthetics course at Continental School of Beauty in January 2007. She joins Beau Monde with a fresh look at skin care. She has a professional, yet upbeat manner with those she meets. Miller has attended extended Dermalogica training and participated in local beauty & esthetics shows, furthering her knowledge in this field. Lisa specializes in creating a fresh look with her brow sculpting and customizing take home skin care regimens for her clientele.
Stacey Gonyeau began her work in the esthetics field in 2006 upon graduation from Continental School of Beauty. While working towards her license, Stacey gained experience as an assistant at a renowned Medical Spa in Pittsford, NY.
After graduation, Stacey began working fulltime within the skincare field over the past two years, coming to Beau Monde in May 2008.
Since her arrival at Beau Monde, Stacey has continued to take steps to further her education as well as add to her clientele base. Gonyeau’s education consists of extensive training in laser hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and endermology.
Dermalogica, GM Collins, MD Forte and Skin Ceuticals round out the specific skin care lines in which Stacey is specifically trained. Waxing, make-up application and facial treatments are also services Stacey provides to clients.
Amy's passion and interest in the field of Massage Therapy began after her first treatment where she learned the value of therapeutic massage. Comfort attended Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2004 where she received her education in Swedish Massage Certification along with Connective Tissue and Myofacial Release Techniques.
Amy has served in her own practice in Webster, NY for the past seven years and is excited to be expanding out to the Victor area. In her private practice she has served patients needs ranging from treating the chronically ill, to aiding in treatment of injuries, to relaxation and wellness oriented massage. Comfort feels that to have the ability to help someone in their healing process, relieve pain and tension, help to maintain wellness, or relieve stress is an amazing gift and truly rewarding.
She is looking forward to beginning her certification in the coming year in the area of Oncology Massage. Amy is also interested in learning the traditional form of Reiki as well as expanding her experience in Hot Stone Massage.
Iris joins Beau Monde with over six years experience in the Massage Therapy background. With a bachelor's degree in Business from Brockport State College, Kocik graduated from Onondaga School of Massage in 2003 after she made the decision to leave the corporate life and follow her passion of doing massage. “There is no better way to spend a day at work that to make people feel better.” This is how Kocik felt as she pursued her desire of massage therapy.
Iris has taken her career to the next level by taking additional training in Orthopedic Massage and Myofascial Release.
She is also certified to teach Yoga and fitness classes. Iris loves to inform people on how to make themselves feel better through exercise and stretching and break their cycle of pain. “Education in the key to wellness.”
