Jason Brescia, founder and creative director of Beau Monde Salon & Spa, has built an incredible reputation with over 19 years of experience in the beauty industry. A master of his craft, he keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear in every season. Brescia thoroughly has a deep passion for making his clients feel and look great and also educating them regarding every aspect of their hair. Jason specializes in consulting with someone and creating a complete hair makeover with his clients. He also specializes in advanced coloring and highlighting techniques along with dry cutting precision cuts. Jason has trained in London, Miami, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Washington DC.
Jill Rizzo joins Beau Monde with over 7 years in the Spa & Salon Management Field. She has her Associates in Business Management/Marketing and got introduced to the Salon & Spa environment by a friend and salon Stylist. Her education includes training at the Strategies Business Center in Connecticut, the IBS NY & Las Vegas Hair Show, as well as the Medical Spa Expo, in New York City. Rizzo has also attended a trip to Cape Town, South Africa to network with other Salon Owners. In 2005, she helped with the expansion of a 5,000 sq foot Medical Spa in Rochester, NY. Her main focus at Beau Monde is to help grow a successful team of technicians and create an inviting work environment. She specializes in Corporate Sales, booking Salon and Spa Business Events and Networking in the community for Beau Monde.
Stephanie joined Beau Monde as a Salon & Spa Coordinator in July of 2009, after her college graduation from SUNY Brockport. She graduated with a degree in Communications, specifically involved in marketing, event planning, and media studies. Very interested in the beauty industry, fitness, and nutrition, Stephanie loves the atmosphere of the Salon & Spa. Daily, she books corporate events, wedding packages, mini-spa days, and more!
Carrie joined Beau Monde in October of 2009 after working in management, customer service, and years of running her own in-home business. While managing a largely known retail store in Victor, Carrie participated in staffing, training, marketing research, and developing sales techniques. She also realized her passion for the fashion and beauty industry, which led her to Beau Monde. Carrie enjoys her position as a Client Coordinator because she is able to incorporate her passions and past work experience on a daily basis, in a friendly work atmosphere!
Tonia Massare, Tonia began her hair styling career at Shear Ego International School of Hair Design in 1999. Promptly after graduation, she studied under Jonathan Webb at Shear Ego Salon and Spa as his assistant for a year's time, eventually working her way up to Style Coordinator before leaving in 2005. During this time in March 2004, Tonia received her Color Specialist Award from Goldwell of New York, a prestigious honor given to those successfully completing the rigorous hands-on color intensive program. Notably, Tonia opened her own hair salon in the Park Avenue neighborhood of Rochester, NY from 2005-2007. In addition to the Goldwell Color Specialist award, Tonia has attended hair shows spanning the country in destinations such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, Florida and Los Angeles where she continues her hair education and training. As a Master Stylist at Beau Monde Salon and Spa, Tonia carries on her passion for hair styling.
Emily Chen started her career in 2004 after graduating from the EMCC Cosmetology licensing program in Rochester, NY. She began as an assistant in Penfield before moving to Pittsford, NY, where she began working as an Associate Stylist. Some of her continuing education includes training in NYC, Canada, Las Vegas, California, North Carolina, and Cancun, Mexico. In 2008, Emily became a Certified Thermafuse Educator which gave her the opportunity to travel throughout the United States & Canada to share her talent & passion for the industry with other hairstylists, as well as furthering her own education. She was recently awarded 2009 Thermafuse Educator of the Year. Chen is experienced in both Goldwell and Framesi coloring and became a Certified Framesi Master Colorist in 2009. Emily comes to Beau Monde with a fashion-forward outlook and enjoys working with her clients to come up with styles individualized to their needs, as well as complimenting their natural features, whether it be a contemporary classic, or an edgy/avant-garde style!
Julie joined Beau Monde in 2008 to further grow her techniques and skill level. During Rizzo's six year career in hair designing, she has received a Goldwell Color Specialist certification and is certified as an Italian Framesi Master Colorist. (which involves 50+ hours of training per color line) Julie maintains an ongoing commitment to education, hair integrity and excellent attentive service to her clients. Before each client leaves, Rizzo provides each of her clients with simple, at-home tips and hints to gain the confidence and knowledge to keep their hair looking its best in between appointments. With versatile color, cutting, and styling techniques, Julie loves every aspect of her career with the positive outlook, "I love what I do because I get to see an end result of my work w/each and every client."
Colombian-born Jeannette Manning joins Beau Monde Salon with 12 years of experience shaping the images of hundreds of clients. Her extensive experience includes haircutting, coloring and straightening such as the Keratin Straightening and Japanese Thermal Straightening. She began her career in Miami working at prestigious salons such as Salon Menage and Red Carpet Salon. She is a stylist who commits to a one-of-a-kind experience for each of her clients, "My philosophy is simple, I customize my styles to suit the unique needs of each and every client to create immediate and visible results that will make a difference in their life."
Jeannette speaks English and Spanish fluently and holds a license in Cosmetology from both the Florida and New York State Board of Cosmetology. Her academic credentials include: Cosmetology, ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE COSMETOLOGÍA Y ESTÉTICA DEL CARIBE - Colombia; Cosmetology, Beauty Schools of America- Miami, Florida. She has additional training and education from various International beauty shows such as "IBS Hair Show" in New York (2006,2008), and Las Vegas (2007), Orlando Premiere Show in (2001,2003) and Fort Lauderdale Premiere Show (1999).
Cori began her career in 1999 at Continental School of Beauty. After graduation, Cori trained as an Assistant Stylist under the direction of Jason Brescia and Sara DeRoller at Intrigue Hair and Color Studio. She stayed with the Intrigue team for five years while continuing to gain experience and taking a variety of educational classes. While working in the beauty industry, she also received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nazareth College of Rochester. Barber has continued her education by participating in the 2010 Summer Framesi Training Class and has attended the Hair and Beauty show in Niagara Falls throughout the years. Her specialities are well rounded in her color and cutting skills as well as her impeccable finishing. Barbers future goals include educating other salons and working with the Framesi Color Line. Cori is excited to be reunited with Jason and the salon staff at Beau Monde!

Brandon J. Jackel, L.M.T., graduated from Monroe Community College with an Associate degree in Science and Applied Studies in Massage Therapy.
Jackel's training consists of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Reiki energy work. Brandon’s specialty lies in Deep Tissue work. He is excited and looks forward to the prospect of becoming certified in Rolfing and Trigger Point Massage Therapy.
Brandon enjoys accommodating the need of his clients at Beau Monde and treats each client with the individual attention and massage techniques tailored to their specifics wants and anatomies.
Apart from serving those at Beau Monde, Brandon also practices massage therapy in an orthopedic context at a local chiropractors in Rochester. Brandon often says, "Our body is our life line, we must value it as gold." Brandon and his wife Crystal reside in Rochester, celebrating life with the arrival of their new baby girl, Abigail.
Caseys passion for massage started when she enrolled at Finger Lakes Community College for her AAS in Therapeutic Massage & Integerated Healthcare. Upon graduation she worked with a clientele base closer to her home before accepting a position here at Beau Monde Salon & Spa. Cummings is competent in Swedish, Shiatsu and Deep Tissue Massage application. She specializes in making her clients feel comfortable and relaxed under her care. Casey has had continuing education classes for Reiki and Lymphatic Drainage techniques. She is currently offer massage four days a week with Beau Monde as well as pursuing her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Nazareth College. Cummings enjoys spending time with her son in her free time.
Natalie graduated from Monroe Community College in 2007 with her Massage Therapy degree and began clinical practice at a Therapeutic Massage Clinic in Rochester, NY. While working at the clinic, she performed Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Reflexology massages, while maintaining a consistent clientele. In the past, Natalie worked briefly as a nail technician which led her into the spa industry. Although raised in Rochester, Walters was born in Jamaica and that has inspired her to pursue her International Massage Therapy License. Natalie would love to travel the world learning new cultural massage techniques. She joined Beau Monde in early 2010, while also working for the American Red Cross. Natalie is very nurturing and patient and believes Massage Therapy is a great way for all of her deserving clients to relax and take time out for themselves.
Lisa Miller started her education at St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sociology and a minor in Education. Soon after she completed the esthetics course at Continental School of Beauty in January 2007. She joins Beau Monde with a fresh look at skin care. She has a professional, yet upbeat manner with those she meets. Miller has attended extended Dermalogica training and participated in local beauty & esthetics shows, furthering her knowledge in this field. Lisa specializes in creating a fresh look with her brow sculpting and customizing take home skin care regimens for her clientele.
Stacey Gonyeau began her work in the esthetics field in 2006 upon graduation from Continental School of Beauty. While working towards her license, Stacey gained experience as an assistant at a renowned Medical Spa in Pittsford, NY.
After graduation, Stacey began working fulltime within the skincare field over the past two years, coming to Beau Monde in May 2008.
Since her arrival at Beau Monde, Stacey has continued to take steps to further her education as well as add to her clientele base. Gonyeau’s education consists of extensive training in laser hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and endermology.
Dermalogica, GM Collins, MD Forte and Skin Ceuticals round out the specific skin care lines in which Stacey is specifically trained. Waxing, make-up application and facial treatments are also services Stacey provides to clients.
Wendy Allen joins Beau Monde with over 8 years in the skin care industry. Allen graduated from Continental School of Beauty in Rochester, NY and trained extensively with the Pevonia skin care line. Here at the spa, Wendy is focusing on her knowledge of Dermalogica and is offering waxing, skin care and a complete array of wellness treatments.
"My love for people and caring is about educating clients about their skin and their emotional health as well." This feeling led Allen to her journey with Reiki over three years ago. She is certified to the highest level in Reiki training (Level 3). Along with this wellness treatment, Wendy uses Young Living essential oils in several of her treatments, such as Ear Candling and the Emotional Healing Therapy. Bringing these amazing treatments to Beau Monde has given Allen the opportunity to teach people that these services are not singled to a luxury spa treatment but a necessity to their well-being.

Tina joins Beau Monde Salon & Spa as a Salon Coordinator in June 2010. She is in currently enrolled at Monroe Community College in the hospitality and tourism program. Douangdara will be transferring to the Rochester Institute of Technology in Fall 2011 to continue and further her education. Her passion is in the wedding field as Tina is an aspiring wedding coordinator. Her plans at Beau Monde include working with our brides to help plan their wedding services as well as coordinate spa packages. Tina has worked in customer service for the past 4 years and she is eager use her past skills to be a part of the Beau Monde Salon & Spa team.
